Recovery Lymphatic Drainage Massage & Post Pocedure Massage in NYC $369 (60 minutes)
What to expect
Recovery Lymphatic Drainage is your “my body has been through a lot, please send an expert” session. This treatment was designed by Dorota, a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Specialist in Manhattan, who is triple certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Recovery Lymphatic Drainage, and Post-Procedures Management. She was trained in Brazil, Europe, and the USA in the most innovative techniques for recovery lymphatic drainage, post-procedure management, tissue quality, and scar care.
This is an advanced recovery massage therapy and lymphatic drainage massage, created especially for post-procedure, post-injury, and high-stress recovery phases. Using precise, rhythmic movements, the practitioner follows the body’s natural lymphatic pathways to reduce swelling, discomfort, and to support the movement of fluids, reduce that tight, swollen, “stuck” feeling, and restore a sense of balance and ease in your body.
A major focus of this session is post-procedure texture changes things clients often describe as “weird bumps, lumpiness, hardening, or fibrosis.” Dorota uses her proprietary Point Stretch technique around areas of scarring and irregular texture to:
- Help minimize excessive scar tissue formation during recovery
- Help minimize existing scars, hard areas, and fibrotic spots to feel and appear softer over time
- Improve the way tissue moves, so it feels less tight, ropy, or stuck
Every move is intentional: where to work, how much to do, and when to leave an area alone, all informed by advanced training and years of hands-on experience with post-procedure bodies. Reiki can be added upon request to support emotional and energetic recovery alongside the physical work. Clients often leave saying they feel lighter, more symmetrical, and finally “back in their body” again.

FAQ – Recovery Lymphatic Drainage Massage
- What kinds of recovery is this good for?
This session is ideal after aesthetic procedures, cosmetic procedures body treatments, injuries, intense workouts, or any period where your body feels overworked, swollen, or tight. Dorota’s triple certification in recovery lymphatic and post-procedure care means the session can be tailored to different stages of recovery, always working within what your body is ready for. - How does massage lymphatic drainage in NYC, help during recovery?
Lymphatic drainage uses very light, specific movements to support the natural flow of lymph—the system that helps manage fluid, waste, and inflammation. When guided correctly, this can help reduce feelings of puffiness, heaviness, and congestion and promote a more comfortable, balanced recovery experience. However, if the treatment is too aggressive, it may create even more scar tissue, so expertise is critical. - What is the Point Stretch technique for scar tissue and fibrosis?
Point Stretch is an advanced, targeted method developed through international training and experience. Your therapist works on specific points, angles, and directions around scars, bumps, hardening, and fibrotic areas to improve tissue mobility, support better remodeling, and gradually soften how these areas feel and look. It’s precise, controlled, and intentionally gentle not rough or aggressive. This type of work should never hurt! - When can I book this after a procedure or injury?
Timing depends on the type of procedure or injury and your provider’s guidelines. Always get clearance from your surgeon or medical provider before starting lymphatic drainage post-procedure. Once you’re approved, Dorota adapts techniques and intensity to match your exact stage of recovery. - Is this painful?
No. Proper recovery lymphatic work is not about deep pressure. The touch is light, rhythmic, and highly specific, designed for sensitive, healing tissue. Most clients describe the session as soothing, calming, and oddly relieving, especially around areas that felt bumpy, tight, or overworked. Reiki, if added, deepens that sense of calm and reset.
We always recommend checking with your medical provider before starting any treatment with us.
