Post Plastic Surgery
Manual Lymphatic Drainage

“If post-op care is not done properly, it can be extremely painful, and it can potentially damage the surgeon’s artwork. But expert gentle care enhances the doctor’s work and delivers the most amazing results” – D.Wallace, Master Technician. Our goal is to manage post-surgery swelling, water retention, infections, existing scar tissue and new scar tissue formation. This is achieved by using Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Point-Stretch Technique which detects and effectively addresses any issues such as fibrosis, scarring, fat deposits, congestion, etc. In the case of liposuction, any lumpiness or unevenness that appears in the aftermath may also be reduced. During surgery, the skin becomes significantly detached from the underlying tissue. If the post-op care is too aggressive, it can prevent the skin from re-attaching properly, and can lead to other serious complications. It is crucial to be meticulous and qualified for this type of care. A proper post-operative lymphatic drainage may be highly effective when paired with other, similarly beneficial techniques and treatments. Such treatments are TK Taping for fibrosis prevention, InfraRed Light Recovery, LED Scar Treatment, and Radio Frequency Skin Tightening.

Post-OP care also decreases post-surgery discomfort, pain, anxiety, and body PTSD.

While plastic surgery is inherently associated with outward results, there is often internal trauma to the body that needs to be treated carefully. Our techniques are always individualized, promoting rapid recovery, tissue repair, proper skin re-attachment, and collagen production.

It is our pleasure to schedule a consultation with you prior to your surgery and help ease your concerns about your post-op recovery. We will offer valuable tips on how best to prepare for your recovery journey, what to expect shortly after your surgery, and other general DOs and DON’Ts. We will provide guidance regarding your compression garment wear, post-operative abdominal boards, lumbar boards, belly-button shapers, abdominal foams, etc.

The most common plastic surgeries our guests undergo are facelifts, breast augmentation, liposuction of the abdomen, arms and thighs, chin, tummy tucks, and Brazilian butt lifts. We offer our expert post-op care for all of these types of surgery and others.

The initial post-op period can often be as long as 12 weeks. We recommend at least 15-20 sessions total, twice a week.
